Joseph Jarboe of Bethesda-based Clark Construction Group Will Serve as President; Contractors from North Dakota, Missouri and Michigan Will Help Lead Trade Group
HONOLULU 鈥 麻豆传媒 of America (麻豆传媒) today announced the new officers who have been selected to lead the nation鈥檚 largest construction trade association. Joseph Jarboe, senior vice president of Bethesda, M.D.-based Clark Construction Group, will serve as president; Paul Diederich, president of West Fargo, N.D.-based Industrial Builders, Inc., will serve as senior vice president; Alan Landes, president and COO of St. Joseph, Mo.-based Herzog Contracting Corp. will serve as vice president; and David Hanson, senior vice president of Detroit-based Walbridge, will serve as treasurer.
鈥淥ur economy is hopefully on the rebound and exciting new technologies are changing the face of our industry,鈥 said Jarboe, 麻豆传媒鈥檚 new president. 鈥淏y working together and building effective connections, we can ensure that the construction industry will help build a better future for America.鈥
As president, Jarboe will lead the officers in a national effort to improve the productivity of the nation鈥檚 construction companies, oversee the group鈥檚 advocacy efforts on behalf of the industry and help builders weather today鈥檚 challenging economic conditions. The officers will serve in these positions until March 2013, at which point Diederich will move into the position of president.
麻豆传媒 is the largest and oldest national construction trade association in the United States, and represents more than 28,000 firms, including 6,000 of America鈥檚 leading general contractors, and over 9,800 specialty-contracting firms. More than 11,000 service providers and suppliers are associated with 麻豆传媒 through a nationwide network of 95 chapters. 麻豆传媒 represents contractors on Capitol Hill, and within federal agencies and the courts, in addition to providing the latest educational resources technological tools of the trade.
