ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ Praises House and Senate Leadership on Passage of WRDA

Washington D.C.β€”ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ of America (ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½) today praised the leadership of Chairwoman Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), Ranking Member James Inhofe (R-Okla.), Chairman James Oberstar (D-Minn.) and Ranking Member John Mica (R-Fla.) for their steadfast support of WRDA. This necessary and overdue legislation supports flood control, navigation and water resources provisions critical to the nation’s infrastructure.

β€œWe hope that the President will recognize the overwhelming bipartisan support for updating the nation’s water infrastructure in this post-Katrina environment,” said Stephen E.
